A special gift to Diabetic Patients

What is the Regina Fund? The Regina Fund is a fund set up to help diabetic patients get the help they need. The Regina Fund helps patients with medicine, supplies, doctor visits and any other necessity the patient may need. The vision for the Regina Fund started with a conversation between a mother and her son. The late great Regina Wright was a diabetic patient and just in the conversations she had with other patients that was in dialysis center with her, she had a chance talk them and knew how hard it was for a lot of them to get what they needed most of the time.? Her vision was start a mission to help other even through her sickness. So, her mission was carried on after she passed in January 2007 to this present day. Last year marked our 12th anniversary of the Regina Fund. 

The Regina Fund donated gift cards and gas cards to people need that extra for doctor or hospital visit also for help on their copay and gas to get there. But we only could do it for selected people. That?s why we are soliciting your help with us exceed more than what Regina Fund has done these past 10 years for this cause. Alright Music Group Inc. has supported and teamed up with The American Diabetes Association since November 2009 to help raise money for diabetes and being that this month of November is also National Diabetes Month what better way to show someone you care. But 2015 was the last ADA StepOut WALK/RUN fundraiser in the city. Please help give our red striders, diabetics and dialysis patients something to say we care and we love them. We are hosting a National Diabetes Awareness Month 5k Walk/Run Around the Loop on November 16, 2019. Please donating funds or even being a sponsor for this event. We will have some workshop set up to help with this event and we are also want to giving away special prizes to diabetic patients. This is a non-profit organization, so the money raised will be giving to The American Diabetes Association, supporting the event to be annually, and to our Diabetic patients in the surrounding area.
What's our goal? The goal of the Regina Fund is to cover more than the Tri County Area. Over the past 3 years the Regina Fund only covers selected counties and with your help we want to branch out and cover the whole state of Alabama and in the future, do events for diabetic patients worldwide.
